Who here uses spring pole, what type and how do you work your dogs on it?

I will put the dogs on one every now and then. I will use a breast of lamb tied to the spring pole and away they go....The day that i do this that will be there food for the day....working for it.

I always do it so the dog can just reach the floor with there back feet.

Same as Glen..dogs feet can always touch the ground..leaping pics of dogs doing hangtime make a great photo op..but no real workout is involved....the back feet on the floor give the dog a very good work out..neck, back, shoulders, back legs, Jaws..dogs can suffer horrific injury from spring pole work done incorrectly, even from a height of a few feet..a friend of mine lost A stafford through this..the dog was about three/four feet off the ground..beautiful dog, very athletic..the dog took a bad fall and broke his back, the dog died from his injurys..not worth the risk of damaging the dog..
