How many times have you breed or studded your dogs. I personnaly dont feel theres any room for me to breed my future dogs due to the amount of dogs in rescue and the endless streams of pups out there. Some do have legitimate positions to breed, with proper lines and stock to use. Others just pump out piles of pups, through some misguided sense of godliness. I wonder the numbers of pups you have produced and your reasons why you feel these dog worthy to breed from. Cheers

I have owned ABs for nine years..have bred once recently..litter of ten..have never studded a dog out and wont in the UK unless its to offspring we have produced and they make the grade..A dog of mine is being used at Stud in Sweden and all being well the USA..why have I bred..because the dogs I own to to me have proved worthy to be bred, they have done and attempted all I have asked them to do, I feel they will add to bettering my breed , they are of sound temp and health and structurally very good always a bonus..now its roll the dice and see if the traits I am after have passed through to the offspring and Sire and Dam are prepotent..any that don't make the grade will not be bred.. We first and foremost breed for ourselves because we want something back, we do not breed to suit a market or line our pockets...and the kennels we are working with abroad have the same mindset and goals..we are not charging for the semen that is going abroad oly for the collection costs..why?..because these future pups will be tested in many areas including Hog Hunting so the feedback we get good and bad from that is more valuable than anything Deb
