we all do what we do, i will vacinate. Makes no odds to me. I like to debate but gonna leave it here so i dont have to listen to HAha from sonia and threats from Stag, you got my number 'Bud' kind of stuff. You do meet em on these forums. I aint throwing my teddy just find its not not debating with these people. Like your post lyndon although i must say i dont agree entirely about the origin of the vet. I do not breed and culling was not something i was debating. Vacinations are something i will continue to disagree with you on. We would be fucked without doctors and animal would be without vets. I bet the majority who say it should be done 'natures way' would be the first down the vets when 'pouch' eats a ball of string, etc. i will listen to any points made and some Lyndon made in his post are valid, but not convincing enough for me. I have worked with many vets, some are money grabbing fuckers, others have a real skill and animal welfare at their heart. Stag of coarse you can read an experienced view on the net or in a book, the same as you can listen to it on a walk or over the phone. Also it matters not how long youve been in a proffesion, but the amount youve been prepared to listen to and filter. I know many people who have achieved in a few years, greaters feats within their given proffesion than someone who has been doing it for donkey's. Its what you put in not how much of an 'old timer' you are. If you read old feeding rules for dogs in many old manuals they are truely out dated for example.

You call it a threat..i would call it a phone call thats it nothing more.
Your not wrong for vaccinating your dogs because i know you have there best interests at heart the same as those who choose to not carry on vaccinating year after year are not wrong we all do what we believe to be best for are dogs.
Isn't it nice to debate.

i was just wondering what neil's idea of a debate was, i think possibly he think's every one should agree with him when debating. if you couldn't see the point i was making when it come's to culling and only breeding from the fittest, healthiest, strongest animal so the gene pool get's stronger well! ( i'd call that sorting the problem at it's sourse, rather than dealing with the effect's) and the vet thing was not perhap's fact but i would of thought you might of got the idea i was aiming at being a level headed type of guy. these so called expert's that we should all listen to, are they the same expert's we should listen to and put our trust in when they say about weapon's of mass destruction (oil and money at the cost of brave young men and women), we're all going to drown because of global warming (yet again money) the list go's on, it's called scare mungering, just like the latest advert on telly telling us all our dog's are going to die because of the big slug invation, is it only now they've realised we've slug's in britain, or were the slug's we had last year a healthy good for your dog type. Just a thought..........

I saw the new slugswillkillyourdogs so make your way to the nearest Vet asap advert last night
The ad was of course sponsored by a pharmaceutical (spellcheck) company as opposed to the Animal Welfare Trust or similar
Sorry...back on topic

Yes I lost a russell to ratting, I bred a litter and sold the pups. At a later date the dog was returned to me after the owner could not cope with the dog, as they did not realise what pain in the arse terriers can be. I took the dog out ratting but few days after the young dog became ill, I took him to the vets to be told after £220 that it would be best to have the dog put to sleep, had he been a bit older he may have been strong enough to fight weils disease. So yes it is worth jabbing your dog
