Relic - You need to be careful, some of them low lifes may get off on that and come back for more. Best make sure you make em take it dry.
On a less serious note what would some of the Alaunts be like?

With the Alaunt that Glen has got i could not say my self i think that with the mastiff and bull terrier blood in there that they would be a good tool to have around you and just pint it the right way. I would of had a dog out of that litter my self but i have only got the room and time for one good dog at a time the misses fell for the bitch that these dogs come from she was some think else. I know that one of the lads that had a dog from that litter was going to do man work with it but i have not heard from him for a long time it would be good to fined out how he got on. Yes you are right it would be best to keep it dry.

I cant speak for all the alaunts only of Lynx. I find him very gaurdy around the home.Unlike morgan he is more reserved when meeting strangers,If im ok with them then he is happy. I know one thing im glad he is on my side because i wouldnt want to be on the wrong end of this lunge.

He is a stunning dog, a dog that i would love to own. i seen him as he was growing at different stages of development impressive to me every time, it would be good to see him go over a few different types of dog for different types of work glen. As a dog like this is just going to add goodness for a lot of things and a roll as a night keepers watch dog is one of them. I would differently think about having something out of him to the right bitch i love your bull cross but i have not go a job for that type of dog. If only there was still some good bull mastiffs about he would add so much to the them. many years ago i was thinking about going go on a breeding program for the old type night keepers dog but time money and space to keep pups back or to take pups back stopped me from doing it.

I would have liked to see the off spring from putting lynx over a bitch from Debs.

Lynx definitely looks like he would have the intensity, build and size to do a job, would certainly improve some of the mastiff breeds you see lumbering around these days.

Mate you are not the only one it would be a good cross for the Alaunt breeding program put me down for one a good small strong male with a lot of colour i mean it if it ever happens.

Is'nt it a shame the way that they have gone, it knocks me sick every time i see a shit one. And the breeders and keepers think that they are great i bet the vets must be rubbing there hands when they see them coming.

Its a big shame the way some K.C. breeds have gone. Does anyone know what has happened in the K.C. / Crufts world since the T.V. documentary on breeding related problems? I know when I occasionally venture on to some of the K.C. Bull Terrier forums there does not seem to have been much of an attitude change there. They still seem to think their no- legged lethargic piglets are far superior to dogs like the IBT and think it would be sacrilege to throw away a century of breed improvement!!! Can't face their mistakes Sorry a bit off topic but its a pet hate of mine.

me too, for all of the years that i have been going to KC shows and crufts most if not all have not changed one bit on there out look in all bull/mastiff breeds, i have seen a few good staffs but that is it, for the last 20 years i have been getting in to heated debates with different breed keepers and breeders all most coming to blows a few times. The dogs are fat with poor muscle development that must just sit in the pens all day long. I have all ways acted dumb around them and then pulled them on the history of there breeds and they don't like it one bit but if that was me and i was breeding and competing i would wont to know the ins and outs of my breed and sister breeds to put the best in put i could in to my stock not just the last few champs,we and they ow it to them to give them the best in looks health and temperament a lot of them show dogs look sod all like they did and most of them have not even got the books on the history of the there breeds i know that some books can be expensive but if they are getting good money for pups they could have a look for a few or is that just me? I said this about two years ago and they slag me for it.
I am not suggesting you should put your dogs in the pit, or to test them against a badger.
But if you are serious about breeding these dogs the least you could do is to test them with 'A' frame,
weight pulling, defence of his master and health tests on all breeding dogs,
and only breed from dogs that can perform these feats, If you are serious that is. I think that it is the least that they could do as they are making money and passing on shit a hell of a lot of times.

You could have come up with a new legal Blood Sport - K.C. Baiting at Crufts. You could bait and catch em, I'll hold em then Orange Peel can dispatch them with his boar hunting knife while no surrender runs round fighting everyone ;D Although the last bits are possibly not legal

Looks like he could stop an argument before it started. I don't think you will get anyone nicking his ball.
