Thanks, yes he's a great little dog to have around. He seemed a bit tender round his shoulder today so I'm taking him to be looked over by the vet tomorrow, hopefully its just bruising.

Our lass was driving the car at the time of the accident. She was stationary indicating to turn right and a livestock wagon carrying two levels of sheep ran into the back, she never saw the wagon just felt the bang, so not sure how fast the wagon was going. It may not have been that fast just the weight of the wagon that did the damage.

Buddy was a bit confused he was flung about in his kennel and must have hit his water bowl which was fixed to the cage door because the bowl was bent and the mounting was snapped. He was covered in glass but not cut. The next day we took him to the vet who said he was tender and had muscle stiffness and tension along his back and shoulders but it soon wore off and he is fine thanks.
I forgot to ask the wife how she was I will go and check now

Thanks our lass had some whiplash - aches and pains in her back, neck and shoulders. It has started to ease up a bit, but apparently she still cant do any ironing, cleaning, household chores or computer work, etc hmmmm

I spend a fair bit of time up in the Lake District, the picks are from a day out walking from Thirlmere up Calf Howe Pike and round the Helvellyn area. Great dog walking country, full days out in the big hills really gets them in condition. Thirlmere seen from Calf Howe Pike View from Calf Howe Pike looking across to Blencathra in the far distance
