To take a stafford and test it against another dog in those cercumstances is insane. Its like they have a big issue against staffs.
Almost like saying that if my retriver ever retrieves anything i will shoot it. Just incase it brings something back i don't expect.

My thoughts were along similar lines, I could have understood prioritising based on man aggression but a low key reaction to another dog would single out a lot of Staffs and other Bullbreeds |

If you took a staff from a shelter that was snappy with another dog then it would be kept away from other dogs or rehabilitated to become ok with them. That to me is a safer bet than having a dog that you've been told is ok with other dogs just to find out its not really later on when its to late.
