hi dutch i have collars from sporting dog & from strongstuff..both collars are excellent but the only difference i can find is the collar i got from sporting dog faded far too quick... so my next set of collars will be from strongstuff...atb scotslad i am trying too post a pic of both collars.. I must admit from these pictures you can really see the quality in the strongstuff collar it even has a big cross in stitch x section in it, i would be conserned about the buckle being in the throat with the Sporting dog supplies collar if your dog pulls a lot, but if your just walking your dog and light work i'm sure it will be fine Maybe just use the sporting dog supplies collars for shows and light duties and the strong stuff one for working dog duties and for shows etc, i dont own any of them but if i was to buy one it would deffo be Strongstuff or the harris an watson leather ones on here

This is what we want this board to be about 'freedom of speech' as such. It is good to hear of how various equipment has withstood the trails of you dogs. Just watch the swearing fellas I have had the odd PM regarding the SDS gear and would like to make it clear that the SDS collars are in no way associated with 'SPORTING DOG CLUB UK'. Cheers fellas keep it coming.

i will be sticking to strong stuff mate for my nylon collars as they have never let me down as a work out or as a collar to keep my dogs on a chain i trust them plus they are made in England.

I've had collars for over 2yrs all fine no fraying, no fading either, hi lee i cant beleve you are calling me a liar m8..you no for a FACT your collars fade m8 through usage if i am a liar why does this pic show your own dog with a SDS collar on & guess what its fading!! so if you had collars 2 years whith no fading what happend too this one!!...i am not a liar..i will tell you what.. i will buy 2 new collars 1 sds & 1 strong stuff..and i will take the dogs up the hills & through all the muddy puddles(shakka) and see how the collars are in a cpl of months..i cant be fairer than that..atb scotslad P.S the eyelets fall out of the weighted harness too...remeber i gave you the heads up about that...and yes you did offer too repair it for me..
