when i was looking for a new collar for my girl at the start of last year i new i wanted a strong/custom/good lucking one... before i heard about Lee & SDS, i emailed SS, with a size and what i wanted, i got a reply saying "i dont do girly coolurs anymore" because i wanted my girls name on the collar.. so i got in touch with Lee, seemed a good bloke, happy to answer questions etc.. i got this collar 3months later (yes she was in n out of that lake with the collar on) i think about 8months after buyin it( granted on a diferent dog(my fault orderd wrong size for my bitch she got to big 4 it) few more months old still strong been washed/dried numerous times Ok so it faded a little, so the stitchin on the embriodory had started to fray, it'd been thru alot in the year i had it, in n out of brambles/hegdes etc in n out of rivers/lakes... and its still going strong on my mates dog but i havent owned a SS collar so carnt compare.. but thats just my experience with SDS Martin

I'm shocked really, The sds collar looked terrible after just one year and i would be more worried about them breaking and snapping from what the others has said My dogs collar was £10 and its 4 years old and like new got it from petsworld

But collars should be through worst than a muddly puddle - shakka what you doing with your dogs trotting around the block and back?!!! LMFAO I bought 2 for my AM Bulls last year at Derby. One fell apart and the other one went rusty. I'm sure they are great for little staff's but they are not safe for large bulldogs my male is 95lb and he kicked off at another dog and the pin bent clean out the buckle and snapped. not good. nearly had a dead dog on my hands. The one that didn't break as lost all the silver rivet things and the one that is left has gone rusty. they are not for big dogs. I will only ever trust strong stuff the quality of this gear is not designed to take a strong rugged dog. They do break Scotslad read above
